The things we do in secret really counts.

JESUS LIVED A HIDDEN LIFE
Jesus lived 90% of his life in hiddenness
Nasaret according to most recent archaeologist diggings in Isreal, this town only had 50 houses in an area no bigger than 4 acres. John 1:46 what good can come of that place?
He learned a finishing mentality in a carpenter shop with His dad – Mark 6:3
He learned obedience through the things he suffered Hebrews 5:8
But we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance produces character; and character produces hope. Romans 5:3, 4
Examples of living a hidden life:
When promised glory, grandeur, and fame by satan He declined Mat 4:3-9
Jesus warned them not to tell
Joh. 12:36 These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.
Joh. 8:59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Joh 11:54 Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.

Our cultures shapes us into believing that people who are living unanimous lives are missing out. Do not too quickly rise to greatness, or even seek greatness until you have learned the power of contentment and humility.
Every great famous person, has unanimous support, of loved-ones, a parent, a secretary, an assistant, a coach who has help them accomplish their success in life.
THE KINGDOM WAY IS HIDDEN
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matt 13:44
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Col 3:2-3
Do not do your good works to be seen by men. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. Mat 6:1-4
Pray in secret And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Mat 6:5-6
Do not promote yourself, your faith or piety. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Mat 6:16
The message of the Kingdom is in the opposite direction of the World
– want to lead, serve the people
– want to be first, go and stand last
– want to have more, give more
– want to become known, hide yourself
Even Jesus final victory was wrought in secret, 2 ½ days in the tomb. Eph 4:8-10
It is the victories we have in our secret lives, that give us the measure of victories in our public life.
The things we do right in secret, makes a man, it is called – Integrity
The things we perfect in hiding, ads to the absolute splendor of the final product.
We overcome the hidden things done in shame, by bringing it into the light.
The worship we give God alone, in secret, moves Him more. This is where David learned to worship, and become the one after God’s heart.
