We would think that in the current information revolution there would be coherent consensus on the facts. But with the increase of more information, comes the danger of too many opinions and misinformation. Particularly in the current pandemic, there still is no coherent prevention, or consistent treatment of the virus. What is the ultimate anchor of stability to the church? The preeminence of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Life is inevitably complex and challenging. How we manoeuvre ourselves safely through life, without causing pain to ourselves or others is the quest. Misreading emotions, and bing led by emotions is certainly not helpful. Learn in this message how to direct emotions properly.
The Eden story is different to all the other ancient’s creation stories in many ways. The omnipotent creator seeks to dwell with man on earth in an enclosed garden, where all that God created out of chaos is good. God walks and talks with man, and gives man, who is made in the image of the Creator the authority to subdue the earth, be fruitful and multiply, in essence: Continue to do as you have witnessed the creator do, and created good out of chaos.
Jesus was completely God and yet fully human while in His earthly existence he had to deal daily with the shortcomings of people. Just think how He had to constantly hold Himself back while people kept sinning, and persevered in their foolishness. Meekness is one of the most important fruits of emotional-spiritual maturity, like a sword master who does not pull his sword out of its sheath without good reason. Humility is part of His righteousness that He does in our work.
The biggest problem with pride, is our blindness to see and recognize it in ourself. (Final Quest – Rick Joyner) Pride is the last enemy to overcome the more holy, gifted, influencial and wise we become. Find and use the antidote – humility and embrace obscurity.
Jesus the hope of Glory is an invitation into the family of God, where He work His godliness in and amongst us. The true church is truly the genius of God!

The ability to say no, hold back, postpone pleasure and reward is synonymous with being kingly, nobility, royalty and maturity. It is indeed much more difficult than emotional impulsive surrender to lusts and urges, but that is what distinguishes us from our animal instincts. Jesus is a perfect example of abstinence, restraint and self-discipline – BE empowered in HIM to also reign royally in this LIFE.
